Alaska Evangelism and Mission Trip organized by It Is Written

In spring 2024, It Is Written is embarking on a mission trip and evangelistic campaign in Alaska, with a series called Revelation Today: Hope for Humanity. A team of 70 volunteers will be serving in Anchorage and Bethel before the series begins on April 5. The events are in collaboration with the Adventist Medical Evangelism Network and Alaska Conference. John Bradshaw, It Is Written president, expressed excitement for the campaign, stating that the organization exists to share the gospel and they are pleased to work alongside churches in Alaska. The series will be led by Bradshaw and Wes Peppers, It Is Written evangelism director, with eight churches in Anchorage hosting the events and a live stream available to churches across the state. It Is Written has been holding training events for local churches to help prepare them to effectively reach their communities. The campaign will follow a mission effort in Anchorage and Bethel, offering free medical, vision, and dental care to the community. The clinics will also focus on mental health services in Bethel. Peppers mentioned that the collaboration with AMEN has allowed for an increase in their medical footprint and reaffirmed the goal of sharing the gospel through both medical services and evangelistic efforts. The overall mission is to reach as many souls as possible with the message of hope and salvation during the campaign and beyond.
