Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love suffered a lower leg injury in the team’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Love was hit by two defenders while attempting a pass, and had to be helped off the field with six seconds remaining in the game. Backup quarterback Malik Willis replaced Love for the final two plays. Love had a solid performance in the game, throwing for 260 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Packers coach Matt LaFleur was uncertain about the severity of Love’s injury. Love signed a lucrative contract in July to remain with the Packers through the 2028 season. The 25-year-old quarterback had a breakout season last year, starting all 17 games and leading the team to the postseason. Updates on Love’s injury are still pending.
