Keira DeLand Wins Alaska’s Premier Amateur Golf Titles and Advances to the Pro Level

Keira DeLand, a 17-year-old golfer from Palmer, Alaska, recently achieved a significant milestone by winning both the Alaska State Match Play and Alaska State Amateur Championships. DeLand, who began playing golf at a young age and grew up next to the Palmer Golf Course, has shown dedication and hard work in pursuing her passion for the sport.

Despite the challenges of playing in Alaska with a short golf season, DeLand’s commitment to practicing and playing paid off as she clinched victories in the state’s top tournaments. She credits her success to playing consistently and working on her game regularly.
