Better for All, a natural products innovator, has been recognized for its commitment to sustainability by winning the Beverage Digest Awards for Best Technology Innovation. The company’s reusable and home compostable cups made from pure PHA material offer a sustainable alternative to traditional single-use plastics.
Selected from over 170 entries, Better for All’s cups were praised for their ability to biodegrade in soil and water conditions, as well as their TUV and Biodegradable Products Institute certifications. These cups have been used at events like the Tortuga Music Festival, where they contributed to an impressive 80% waste diversion rate from landfill.
Raegan Kelly, Co-founder and Head of Product at Better for All, highlighted the company’s partnerships with venues like USC Athletics and Oak View Group’s GOAL network to reduce waste through the use of biobased, non-toxic, and compostable materials. The cups have also received verification as plastic-free through Oceanic Global’s Blue Standard.
Judged by industry experts, including representatives from McKinney and Howie’s Spiked Alc-A-Chino, the awards recognized the impact of Better for All’s innovative technology. By offering a practical and sustainable solution to single-use plastics, the company is paving the way for a greener, more environmentally-friendly future.
