At least 2 killed as armed men open fire on reopening hospital in Haiti

Two people were killed and others injured when armed men opened fire on a group of journalists gathering for a government press conference announcing the reopening of Haiti’s largest public hospital. A journalist and a police officer were killed at the scene. The transitional presidential council expressed sympathy to the victims’ families and stated that the act would not go without consequences.
