Begich also announced other key appointments to his staff, including Michael Horanburg as Chief of Staff, Kevin Swanson as Legislative Director/Deputy Chief of Staff, Silver J. He has been working with President Trump’s official transition team, members of Congress, House leadership, and the people of Alaska to ensure that the state’s priorities are heard and acted upon at the national level.
