ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Juneau Police Deputy Chief Krag Campbell confirmed on Wednesday that a woman has died in an officer-involved shooting. The identity of the woman has not been released, and Campbell did not provide details on the circumstances of the shooting.
The incident prompted the closure of sections of Glacier Highway from the McNugget Intersection to Jordan Creek Center, as well as Trout Street, for the police investigation. Alaska’s News Source has reached out to the Juneau Police Department for further information.
