Chipotle Continues Partnership with Strava to Help Customers Achieve Fitness Goals

Chipotle has been helping people achieve their fitness resolutions since 2024 by partnering with a fitness tracking app, Strava. According to Drive Research, 79 percent of New Year’s resolutions involve getting healthier, like eating better and exercising more. This partnership includes sending motivational texts in its Goals, Gym, Guac chat and challenges called “Chipotle segments.”

To kick off the initiative, Chipotle is giving away 50,000 Lifestyle Bowls on No Quitters Day (Jan. 10) through the Strava collaboration. In a TikTok video, a food reviewer shares the steps to snag a free Lifestyle Bowl, generating excitement among followers. Despite the limited availability, fans eagerly sign up for a chance to win.

Chipotle workers, on the other hand, express concerns about the potential busyness on Friday due to this promotion. However, the company is committed to supporting its customers’ wellness goals through this partnership. Vice President of Brand Marketing Stephanie Perdue explained that having an accountability buddy makes it easier to accomplish wellness goals, and Chipotle aims to provide that support through their version of a group chat on “No Quitters Day.”

To participate, fans must sign up for the “Goals, Gym, Guac” SMS group by a designated deadline. With the help of Strava, Chipotle is encouraging healthy habits and making fitness fun for its customers.
