The Nanooks suffered a defeat against Central Washington on Thursday evening during the fall season.


The Nanooks basketball team returned home for the first time in 2025, hosting the Central Washington Wildcats on Thursday evening. Despite a strong effort, Alaska fell to Central Washington by a final score of 93-74. Chris Lee led the team with 23 points, followed by Isaiah Saams-Hoy with 13 points, and Jalai O’Keith with 11 points. The team shot 50.9% from the floor and 37.5% from three-point range, but the Wildcats outperformed them with shooting totals of 55.9% and 57.1%.
