Certified registered nurse practitioner Eric Faught, CRNP, has recently joined the medical staff at Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois. Faught will be working with the team at Penn Highlands Trauma Services, where he will provide expert care for patients with serious injuries such as automobile collisions, severe burns, brain injuries, gunshot wounds and falls.
Faught brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously practiced at Primary Health Network in Sharon, Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, and Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Ill., and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Messiah College in Mechanicsburg. Faught is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Some of the common treatments and procedures Faught will be performing at Penn Highlands Trauma Services include FAST exams, arterial lines, central lines, thoracotomy placement, and US guided intravenous access.
