Colony High School’s Hallie Clark was recently named the Gatorade Alaska Girls Basketball Player of the Year, becoming only the second player in the program’s history to receive this prestigious honor. Clark led the Knights to their first regional title in five years and the No. 1 seed at the upcoming 2025 ASAA 4A state tournament.
Standing at 5-foot-7, Clark has been a standout player for Colony, averaging 25.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.8 steals per game while shooting 40.3 percent from beyond the arc. She has been named the Class 4A Player of the Year for the 2023-24 season and has been a three-time first team all-tournament selection.
Known for her exceptional on-court abilities, Clark also excels academically with a 3.98 GPA. She has been actively involved in her community, organizing Thanksgiving food drives and raising funds for youth basketball players in Uganda through a basketball camp.
Clark expressed her gratitude for the support she has received from her teammates, coaches, and the Alaska basketball community. She emphasized the importance of hard work and faith in achieving her goals both on and off the court.
After graduation, Clark will continue her basketball career at Colorado Mesa University. She is eager to lead her team to further success in the upcoming state tournament and remains focused on achieving her goals both athletically and academically.
