The Alaska Highway is currently closed due to a fuel spill at Toad River south of Muncho Lake, as reported by Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). An update on the closure is expected at 3 p.m., with the closure at KM 668 of the highway. Meanwhile, Highway 37, the alternate route from British Columbia into the Yukon, may also face disruptions today. Drive BC has announced avalanche control work between Beady Creek and Moose Pasture Pit north of Dease Lake, B.C. from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., causing delays of up to 2 hours.
