JAS Asset Plc, a real estate firm specializing in community malls, is set to develop mixed-use projects with nursing homes adjacent to malls as part of their business expansion plans. The chief executive, Mr. Suphot Sirikulapas, stated that economic conditions are driving the company to optimize and sell existing project spaces while seeking new partnerships to enhance tenant diversity. Additionally, JAS aims to develop office rental spaces for new businesses in suburban areas this year.
The company is also focusing on its wellness business, particularly in elderly and dependent care services, as they see significant opportunities in Thailand’s aging society. The integration of lifestyle nursing homes with community malls is seen as a strategic move to cater to the needs of elderly residents and their families. Senera nursing homes, a key offering by JAS, provide comprehensive services including eldercare and post-illness rehabilitation.
The facilities are strategically located next to malls and communities to allow for easier access and offer a variety of activities for residents and their families. Currently, Senera has two branches in Bangkok and Nonthaburi, with plans to expand to cover all eight branches of JAS in Bangkok and its suburbs.
Pongsiya Kittikachon, the company’s vice-president of marketing and communication, mentioned that Senera aims to extend its reach into communities by offering healthcare services directly to residents through Senera Home Care. This service provides caregivers to assist elderly individuals or those recovering at home, as well as consulting services for modifying homes to be elder-friendly.
