Carnival Cruise Line’s 2025 season in Alaska kicked off earlier this month with the arrival of the Carnival Spirit in Seattle. After undergoing a drydock in Europe, the ship made its way to the West Coast as part of a repositioning voyage that included a transit of the Panama Canal. The 15-night itinerary sailed from Miami and included stops in Panama, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Mexico before arriving in Seattle.
The Carnival Spirit will spend the summer in its homeport offering seven-night “Alaska Inside Passage & Glacier” cruises, featuring visits to Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and Victoria. The highlight of the cruise is scenic cruising at Tracy Arm Fjord, described as one of the most spectacular cruise destinations on earth. Additionally, the ship will offer a ten-night cruise to Alaska in late September before concluding its deployment in the region.
In addition to the Carnival Spirit, Carnival’s 2025 season in Alaska also features the Carnival Luminosa, repositioned from Brisbane, Australia. The Luminosa will offer seven-night cruises every Thursday through mid-September, visiting similar destinations as the Spirit. The Carnival Legend will also visit Alaska in 2025, departing from San Francisco on longer cruises.
Carnival Cruise Line continues to provide exceptional experiences for travelers, offering a variety of itineraries and destinations for passengers to enjoy. The 2025 season in Alaska promises to be an exciting adventure for cruisers looking to explore the beauty of the region.
