Home on the Grange Meeting to Discuss Alaska 250 Initiative

Home on the Grange will be holding a meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. to discuss the Alaska 250 Initiative, which is a celebration of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026. State Historian Katie Ringsmuth will be making a presentation and leading the discussion on this initiative.

The meeting will take place at the Grange Hall in North Pole at 2800 Grange Road. For those who are unable to attend in person, there will be an option to participate by Zoom using ID number 813 6504 0118 and passcode 2117706. Additionally, District 33 Rep. Mike Prax will provide an update on the current legislative session in Juneau.

Next week’s meeting will focus on the Real ID. The public is invited to attend this informative discussion.
