High School Soccer Girls games took place this week with Service defeating Bartlett 10-0, Wasilla beating Colony 4-2, Palmer securing a 1-0 victory over Redington, and Chugiak dominating Eagle River 10-1. In the Boys matches, Colony defeated Wasilla 3-0, Palmer won against Redington 14-1, and Chugiak beat Eagle River 9-0.
In Softball action, Colony had a series of games against Juneau-Douglas and Sitka, with mixed results. In Baseball, there were thrilling matches with West defeating Bartlett 10-4, Eagle River winning against East 5-2, and Wasilla defeating North Pole 10-6.
Track and field events saw various high school teams competing with Dimond and Chugiak emerging victorious in the Girls and Boys categories. The NAHL had Anchorage Wolverines beating Fairbanks Ice Dogs in a close match.
The 2025 Superhero Showdown had little heroes and superheroes participate in a fun run event, showcasing their athletic skills and superhero costumes. The event was a success with a great turnout of participants from various locations.
