Anchorage police report discovering three deceased individuals inside a residence in the U-Med area.

In an update on Thursday, Anchorage police revealed that two men and a woman were found dead inside a residence in the U-Med area during a welfare check the previous day. The officers were initially dispatched to the 3500 block of East 42nd Avenue and upon arrival, they found a deceased person through a window. Upon entry, they discovered the three deceased adults. The circumstances surrounding their deaths remain unclear, and the State Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. Despite a previous stabbing incident in the same block last month, there is no indication that the two cases are related. Police spokesperson Amanda Brimanis stated that the investigation is ongoing, and there are no further details available at this time. There was no police activity in the area on Thursday afternoon.
