Successful Spring Event at Carlson Center Draws Outdoor Enthusiasts
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTUU/KTVF) – KO Productions wrapped up their final spring event of the year at the Carlson Center, showcasing an impressive array of outdoor gear and activities. The Class 5 Boatworks event attracted 115 businesses and over 6,000 visitors, making it a prime destination for outdoor lovers and hunting enthusiasts.
Visitors enjoyed displays featuring ATVs, camping gear, RVs, SUVs, and various travel activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere for anyone passionate about the outdoors. Class 5 Boatworks Co-Owner Daniel Cole highlighted the importance of community engagement at the event. “I love having conversations here and hearing about people’s experiences in the woods,” Cole remarked. “It’s the kind of stuff that you would share around the campfire.”
This year’s event was sponsored by Camper Valley, which recently partnered with Keystone RV to offer their products in the interior region. Keystone Pacific Coast Representative Scott Lean reported strong sales during the event, stating, “We’ve already sold four to five units, primarily to existing RV owners.” He noted that attendees are often savvy buyers looking to upgrade or trade in their current units. Lean attributed the high demand for RVs to their popularity among locals in the area.
The event is set to continue until Sunday at 5 PM, providing an excellent opportunity for residents to explore and invest in their outdoor adventures.
