Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas to Make Historic Debut in Alaska

Royal Caribbean International’s Anthem of the Seas is gearing up for its inaugural cruise season in Alaska following a winter in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The 2015-built vessel embarked on a 15-night repositioning voyage from Japan to North America, concluding its journey in Seattle on May 9, 2025.

Anthem of the Seas will launch a series of exciting seven-night cruises from Seattle every Friday, visiting scenic destinations like Victoria, Juneau, Skagway, and Sitka. Some selected cruises will also include the picturesque Icy Strait Point. The ship will sail in the Alaskan region until early October, offering passengers breathtaking views and unique experiences.

After completing its summer season in Alaska, the ship will embark on a trans-Pacific voyage towards Australia and the South Pacific. This itinerary includes a nine-night cruise to Honolulu from Vancouver, followed by a 17-night journey to Sydney, featuring stops in destinations like Papeete, Raiatea, and Tauranga.

In addition to the Anthem, Royal Caribbean will deploy three other ships—Quantum of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, and Radiance of the Seas—in Alaska for the 2025 season. These ships will offer various itineraries departing from Seattle, Vancouver, and Seward between May and September, enriching travelers’ experiences with visits to Ketchikan, Haines, Juneau, and more stunning locations.

As the ship returns for a second season in Alaska and Canada in May 2026, Royal Caribbean continues to strengthen its commitment to providing unforgettable journeys through this magnificent region.
