Sixteen countries are set to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest’s second semifinal on Thursday, vying for a spot in Saturday’s grand finale at St Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland. Viewers will play a crucial role in deciding which ten acts will advance to this highly anticipated event.
Ten countries have already secured their place in the final following Tuesday’s first semifinal. The “Big Five” nations—Britain, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain—are guaranteed a spot in the 26-country final alongside the host nation, Switzerland.
