U.S. GoldMining Explores New Opportunities at Whistler Project

U.S. GoldMining Inc. has announced promising developments at the Whistler Project, part of the Whistler-Raintree mineral system, known as the ‘Whistler Orbit.’ This area, covering approximately 5 x 5 km, features a classic ‘porphyry cluster’ with multiple porphyry intrusions, including established gold-rich mineral resources at Whistler and Raintree West.

The exploration area has yielded over 25 individual targets identified through a combination of geological analysis, 3D magnetic modeling, and geochemical assessments. Recently disclosed drilling results south of the Raintree West deposit highlighted a significant find: 138.0 meters at 0.99 g/t AuEq, comprising gold, copper, silver, lead, and zinc grades, from an untouched area.

CEO Tim Smith emphasized the immense potential of the Whistler Project, located just 105 miles from Anchorage, Alaska. The project spans 53,700 acres of State mining claims, with less than 1% containing existing gold-copper deposits. Smith stated, “We have an established exploration methodology that aids in targeting high-priority areas for further investigation.”

The exploration strategy includes utilizing airborne magnetic surveys to identify promising magnetic anomalies, which point to high-level intrusive bodies associated with porphyry mineralization. Notable targets such as Mammoth and Big White show potential based on surface sampling and historic drilling results.

As U.S. GoldMining plans further exploration programs for summer 2025, the company aims to provide additional resource evaluations alongside their initial economic assessments for the project. Stakeholders eagerly await this upcoming exploration to unlock further potential at the Whistler Project.
